Gearing up for the Christmas season, localPeople.co.uk is on a special festive mission to find the nation’s Christmas glitterati whether that is house, street, garden, window, tree or even pet.

Do you tip your postman/bin man/milkman at Christmas time?

Have you ever tipped your postman/bin man/milkman without it being Christmas time?

Has the recession had an effect on whether or not you tip?

Do you feel like the recession is making you less charitable?

To take part in our polls about whether the recession has affected your goodwill this Christmas, click here.

From the most elaborately decorated tree, the person who’s spent thousands on their festive decorations, to the most twinkly lighted garden, there are no limits. For those showing goodwill and neighbourly love, communities are also welcome to send in images of the most festively decorated street, set to make the rest of the UK look positively bare in comparison.

Christmas time provides the perfect excuse for men, women and children to get into the true Christmas spirit and go that extra mile to ensure Scrooge is kept at bay. As a celebration of this – LocalPeople.co.uk invites everyone across the Local People community sites to send in a picture to be proud of, conveying Christmas is truly in their household.
