Devon Superfast Broadband - Result!

Devon has had a successful bid for a funding package. So those

areas that are not on the fibre optic roll-out plan are now on this

other funding. More details will be added when known.

The Devon

County Council area has gone from a digital desert with a planned small superfast oasis

to digital green land. It can only be kept in this state if Devon County

Council can act with vigour and forward plan. Jumping on coat tails and

being pulled along by others will lead to stagnation.

This takes

monitoring and I suppose I will have to commit to that. The quest for Superfast

Broadband in Devon has far from finished. It needs to be actually delivered.
