NEW YEAR'S EVE in Exmouth is an unforgettable experience! The whole town turns out in fancy dress, with fireworks on the seafront marking the New Year at midnight, so it's not surprising that Exmouth is regularly voted one of the top places in the UK to celebrate!
Exmouth celebrates New Year's Eve!
If you want to join in the great Exmouth New Year tradition of making the rounds of the local pubs in fancy dress, there are plenty of free events to enjoy. At the York Inn, DJ Stephen Paul will be playing all your favourite dance and chart tunes all night till late – request anything that puts you in the party mood! At The Park on Exeter Road, there's a New Year's Eve disco party from 9.00pm with KJ's Disco – fancy dress optional. And at The Bicton, on Bicton Street, you can catch a live set from local rocker Martin Weller from 10.00pm onward.
You can also join one of the popular parties hosted by local clubs and bars. This year The Grapevine on Victoria Road is hosting a New Year's Eve Hat Party with live music from Lazy Lizard, while round the corner in Manchester Street the Q Club is throwing a New Year's Eve Party with top tunes from resident DJ Kevin Kane, great drinks prices and prizes for the best fancy dress!
If you fancy something a little more relaxed, the Exmouth Pavilion's New Year's Eve Gala Dinner may fit the bill with an exclusive evening of fine food and entertainment, and Mike Long performing the music of Frank Sinatra from 10.30pm. Exton's Puffing Billy is also hosting a New Year's Eve Party with a luxurious 6-course meal and a disco until 1.00am.
And finally, if gourmet food is your pleasure, why not celebrate New Year's Eve in style at Exmouth's award-winning Les Saveurs at the Seafood Restaurant? The winners of Marco Pierre White's Kitchen Wars have created a superb 5-course New Year's Eve Menu guaranteed to make your evening memorable!
Whatever you choose to do in and around Exmouth this New Year, you're bound to have a fantastic time – Happy New Year everyone!
