EXMOUTH, Lymptone, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Ottery St Mary and Honiton remain on a flood alert this evening (Thursday 13 October)...

Although the main band of rain has cleared, the Environment Agency is still warning that further showers are predicted during Thursday night through to Friday. It says that "catchments are saturated and flooding remains a possiblity".

A Flood Alert means that flooding is possible, so be prepared.

This morning flash flooding hit parts of Exmouth, including the bottom of Withycombe Village Road, near the junction of Lyndhurst Road, near to Withycombe Brook ( the scene of flooding in July).
