Shortly after these pictures were taken, roads to Exmouth seafront appeared to be closing, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Re: Exmouth's disappearing dunes. Thanks for the update Rog. It's good to be reminded of the erosion that's taking place there, and how we may be able to prevent it.

ReportHuge amounts of sand were removed from the dunes by the sea again yesterday. Exmouth's dunes are disappearing at a rate of knots. This is partly due to erosion by people's feet and insufficient marram grass planting. I understand that they are the responsibility of East Devon District Council.
