THE ENVIRONMENT Agency has issued a flood warning for Exmouth, especially the seafront area. The flooding is likely to occur around high tide at 8.30am tomorrow (Wednesday 17 October)...
The warning, issued by the agency earlier this evening, is for low lying and exposed communities between Exmouth and Lyme Regis, including the sea front areas of Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth and Seaton.
The agency warns that "overtopping" and onshore flooding may occur as a result of high water levels combined with high energy waves. This is likely to occur two to four hours either side of high tide.
High tide in Exmouth tomorrow (Wednesday 17 October) is 8:30am. Times of high tide will vary along the coast.
