ROCK AND ROLL BAND GEAR GIVEAWAY

The Honeytones are a very popular North Devon based rock and roll band comprised of adults with learning disabilities. They have just received their 3rd grant from the National Lottery and as part of the terms of the grant they are looking to form a similar band in the Exmouth area.

The band performed at Bystock Court recently and identified a few residents there who are very keen to be part of the new band. Bystock Court will provide transport so we are now looking for more band members.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, we are looking for an individual who would be prepared to take charge of the new band. He/She will have musical knowledge, ideally be able to play an instrument, and be willing to commit to running the band and performing at public venues etc.

The deal is this : The Honeytones will provide PA gear and instruments free of charge. We will also mentor the new band for as long as they need then, in mid 2012 we will hold a joint concert in South Molton, after which the new band can take off on their own !
