This humble little cafe provides good, no-nonsense, value-for-money cooked breakfasts and some hearty lunches. If you're going for the full English, be aware that the large size really is quite enormous. A good bet if you want something that's good value and without any pretension.

ReportWhen Giles Coren gave the Albion Cafe a glowing review in the Times in 2008, the regulars of this Exmouth institution were delighted, but not surprised. For despite changes of ownership over the years, the Albion continues to provide a consistently high standard of traditional cafe fare to its faithful clientele. Cooked breakfasts (big, bigger and colossal) are the highlight, but they also provide a daily home-cooked lunch menu featuring such favourites as roasts and pies. Don't miss on their their fantastic home-cooked ham!
