Cafe fit for 21st Century in Budeligh
Very light and spacious cafe/deli is a welcome addition to Budleigh Salterton. Always nervous to walk in to the other small "twee olde tea shoppes" in the High Street, this one ticked all the boxes for us. Perfect for light lunches and cream teas, I also saw they were advertising an evening "rustic supper" with set menu. Warm and friendly service in splendid period building with modern touches.

Budleigh's delicious deli!
I'd heard good reports about this upmarket cafe and deli in Budleigh Salterton, so I thought I'd give it try. It's excellent! I received a warm welcome from the helpful staff and and soon I was settling down to enjoy a superb latte accompanied by a delightful Italian almond biscuit, dusted with sugar and with a scumptious orangey filling. In addition to coffee, cakes and biscuits, they also offer breakfasts, lunches, afternoon and cream teas, daily specials and, occasionally, special dinner evenings. They specialise in home-made foods, prepared on the premises. The cafe is tastefully decorated, has an agreeable ambience and is very pleasant to while away an hour or so. All in all, a real find. Top notch!
