Prospect Plaice
A cut above the average
Prospect Plaice is a slightly posh fish and chip restaurant and takeaway on Sidmouth seafront. Its interior is clean and modern (no greasy smell!) and the menu makes the most of fresh fish cooked to order and served with traditional accompaniments. The staff are smart, pleasant and efficient and the food very good indeed. There's usually plenty of space to dine in, even at busy times, the only downside being that the tables don't have a sea view. A little pricey, but portions are huge, and this is Sidmouth!
