Good for an occasional treat
Established for just over a year, Shakers has become a firm favourite on Exmouth's Strand. If you like milk shakes, then Shakers won't disappoint, offering a wide range of shakes, more healthy frozen yoghurts, plus seasonal specials. The current special is Mince Pie and Ice Cream Sundae with Chocolate Sauce... very festive. Over the past few months I've tried some of their chocolate bar milk shakes – such as Wispa and Cadbury's Dairy Milk – and been reasonably impressed. However the more conventional fruit milkshakes, particularly pineapple, are more to my taste. Overall, Shakers is good for an occasional treat, especially in the summer when you can sit outside, watching the world go by...

Shakers in Exmouth is cool
I couldn't agree more with BenPeter and Peggie 13. Shakers is somewhere to go for a treat, and the staff are definitely flexible and helpful. It's certainly not a 'fast food' type of place, though service is quick - but it's careful and made with attention. It's an interesting time for it to have opened but I think that by the time summer comes, and all the tourists find it, the regulars will already be established and will keep coming back. Frozen yoghurt is such a healthy alternative to ice cream, too, which is great.

Kids loved it!
I took my 2 toddlers here for a special treat last week, they both had a chocolate milkshake, the lady was really helpful and specifically didn't make it too thick so it was easier for them to drink. Great choice and friendly and relaxed staff with a fun atmosphere. Not somewhere i'd take my kids to every week, but it's a great bribe for when we are in town, if they behave i'll take them for a milkshake! There is so much choice and kids will love choosing what they want. :)
