Really? Tesco? Community? This doesn't sound right at all.

ReportTesco IS the local community in Exmouth - let's face it, they have no competition. I can't believe how far out of town you have to go before you get some real choice. Example, my wife sent me to get risotto rice because she was cooking a fresh risotto. Could only get sachets of pre-mixed stuff at our Tesco. If you want to cook from scratch, or you want something a bit different, you stand no chance. Multi-pack of Penguins or a 24-pack of Stella, and it's fine... since they have a captive audience, why don't they introduce some slightly more adventurous lines?

I think we should all pool together our resources and start our own community farm. Grow organic veg and herd our own cattle...
Watched a documentary last night about our excess food consumption (no news, and watching my nephew eat, no surprise either), and the resulting battery farms and endless agricultural fields full of little men in radioactive suits, spraying the greens with pesticides. Not to mention the toxic wastes they feed pigs - scary story right here: www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/1284...
If anyone has watched the CNN news about the swine flu's patient zero, it seems like all evidence is pointing towards the Smithfield Foods pig farm in the area.
Oh right, Tesco Community Fair. Looking forward to the face painting.
