I love the view from the train into Exmouth. I already feel I am coming home when I see the warm red cliffs along the sea into Exmouth. Does any one else feel this way?

Totally. There is just nothing like coming down that line from Exeter, down the estuary. Every day, I pinch myself. I moved down from London a few years ago and still look out of the window when I go into the city each morning, thinking how much better my view is! And yet so many people just sit there texting or looking into space. Why would you?! Nice to know I'm not the only one though. How many people get to commute into work on a line called 'The Avocet' because of its rare birds?! I just can't believe how little known about this part of Devon is. There should be more of a push for a big tourism campaign. Everyone knows about Salcombe, Dartmouth, Torbay, Clovelly, but who thinks of going to Exmouth or nearby for a summer holiday? It's always busy in the summer but I think they could do more to promote it - the council/tourist board.
