I think this is a really good idea.  However, I think it is really important to give a balanced view on climate change, particularly to young people.  Recent reports have shown that some of the data published was flawed.  I'm not saying climate change isn't happening, and that we shouldn't all try to do something to improve the situation, but it is important to give people both sides of the discussion, not just what the politicians want us to hear.

Good luck with you project,Greenie121, I am sure it will be worth the effort and really good to get young people involved in a practical way..

Sounds good. I understand Exmouth Community College has a grow your own group or something that involves students learning about growing vegetables... that's got to be a step forward... I remember when I was about 13 I was in the first wave of students to be involved with a recycling aluminium cans and a national project, just as they discovered they should be recycled. I think I also went to plant a tree somewhere. I think I might have got lost on the way though as I'm a convenience recycler these days. Maybe I got lost somewhere along the way because I didn't get involved with things like a magazine for green teens at the time! Have you heard of Exmouth Tidy Group? Are there any young people volunteering for that? What about beach clean-ups for protecting the marine life? I'm sure lots of local young people get involved with that. I think the Exe Estuary group organise those, and maybe the Guides/Brownies get involved? Good luck! Hope that is of some help!
