Is it not about time us Council Tax payers get some reduction in local parking, it would be easy to provide each household a pass that when displayed gave us half price parking at certain catparks. Machines would not need to be changed as the pass would show that the vehicle is covered the double time paid for. Public transport is expensive unless you hold a pass and it's about time we were given something back for what we do spend towards the town and loyalty shown.
