Superb Sales Progression at Redhomes
I bought and sold through Redhomes last year and was really impressed with the sales progression and customer care after the actual agreement of sale in both cases. The lady who oversaw the process was very attentive and was always one step ahead of the solicitors, chasing them when needed and ensuring the sale and purchase moved smoothly. I think sales progression is a vital part of the service and I recommend Redhomes for this reason. They don't all do it that well.

Renting Through Redhomes?
We rented a home through Red Homes, but we were very disapointed with their lack of service. The House we moved in to was not at all prepared for us, there was no hot water (fair enough they did sort this out for us) the carpets and decor were apauling, we assumed it would be tidied up before we moved in, but we ended up delaying our move and had to do the decorating and replace the carpets ourselves and at our own expense. The shed roof was rotten through and in danger of collapsing, but were simply told the landlady couldn't afford to replace it. there was a live electricity cable in the garden which we had been told was safe, it was only when I cut through it that we realised it wasn't, it's just lucky the kids didn't get hold of it first. We ended up having to get enviromental health out because the place was in such a state and we were getting ignored. To our horror a month later we were told to pay £100 extra per month or get out! Luckily we knew where our landlady lived and sent her a letter, she was disgusted with how we had been treated, she hadn't been told of the problems we had reported and hadn't even suggested a rent increase. So between us we ditched Redhomes and are now happily living in the same home, and all the problems are resolved! A unecessarily rough start with a happy ending. I don't know what they are like with sales, but from my renting experiance, I do not recommend Redhomes to anyone.
