TODAY: Children's Party - in aid of The Sarah Jayne Fund

A fundraising day is taking place on Saturday 29 September in Exmouth's Manor Gardens to raise money for The Sarah Jayne Fund. It follows the sinking of the trawler Sarah Jayne off Berry Head and the loss of its skipper Geoff Ingram.

The event will be officially opened by the Exmouth mayor and his deputy at 12 noon. Musical acts include The Exmouth Shanty Men, with others to be confirmed.
