The Jurassic Classic – a cycle ride starting in Exmouth's Strand and finishing at Exmouth's Rugby Ground – has been re-scheduled for Saturday 18 August. It will raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity.
Sponsored by Wiggle, the event was originally due to take place on Sunday 8 July but was postponed due to the heavy rain that caused flooding and disruption along much of its route.
As before, the event will be split into two cycle rides of separate distances – the Epic Ride (100 miles, start 7am) and the Challenge Ride (100km, start 8am).
For more details and how to enter both rides, see the Prostate Cancer site: http://tinyurl.com/bstav5v
For those who are not entering the cycle rides, there are plenty of attractions on offer at the "events village" at the Rugby Club. These include an inflatable maze and bouncy castle and a human gyroscope as well as live music from Steve Black and Alan West.
The rescheduled Jurassic Classic - in aid of Prostate Cancer UK - takes place this Saturday (18 August). Please note it starts in Exmouth's Strand and finishes at the Exmouth Rugby Ground
