Transition Town Exmouth - the town's environmental group - is holding an evening dedicated to fresh water. The event, at 6.30pm for 7pm on Thursday 27 September at Bicton EaRTH Centre, aims to show how we can adapt to the impact of climate change on our water supplies and make every drop of water count.
Neil Whiter, South West Water's Head of Supply Demand Strategy, will be the evening's keynote speaker. He'll be discussing the factors affecting supply and demand in the South West. He'll also look at how we can adapt to climate change.
There's also information on water harvesting, plus leaflets and material from Transition Town Exmouth.
The water evening is at Bicton EaRTH Centre, Home Farm, Bicton College, East Budleigh, Devon EX9 7BH on Thursday 27 September, 6.30pm for 7pm start.
Free admission, although a donation towards Transition Town Exmouth would be much appreciated. For more information, contact Derek Smithers at dws28@tiscali.co.uk or call 07516 474353.
