No free Parking on seafront between Grove and Octagon

Why should we pay for parking in the winter? It now means even less chance of supporting my local shops and retailers as I now cannot park anywhere in this town. I will go to Budleigh where strangely the council has allocated a whole car park as being free for 12 months of the year. Do the people who make these decisions actually ive in the area? I expect not. Stopping free parking on the seafront area opposite the Grove is stupid. Suggest they will need to employ 100 more wardens to cope with the Christmas swim parking enforcement. I suggest all residents in the town don't move their cars as we on the outskirts have been pushed into there roads to try to park.......

We could start by offering a discount to the locals, those that help fund the town and not just during holiday season, nothing like looking after your own first and at present there is nothing like it, I posted a simple idea in the discussion forum.
