Abba Mania in Exmouth heralds the start of the Fancy Dress Season

Exmouths Exe Sailing Club came out in full Swedish style and Abba-mania glitz last weekend to raise just over £200 for Children in Need.

Members donned outfits - many handmade - and dropped any English reserve to sing along to all the Abba favourites. Debbie Woodcock, Social Chair, said "Heads were scratched over the Abba quiz and loud cheers indicated the crowd's favourite fancy dress."

The event raised £205.45 and was a huge success. Exmouth is known as a fancy dress Mecca, especially at New Year, so it's only right that some of the locals should dress up and raise money.
