There's a lot to do here at Devon Cliffs but like a lot of other holiday camps they don't tell you how difficult it is to get down the steep path to the beach and, more importantly, back up again! Once on the beach as long as you keep an eye on the tides, you can walk all the way into Exmouth. If you don't fancy the risk of getting cut off by the tide you can walk along the cliff path into Exmouth or the other direction to Budleigh Salterton. Just be aware that the path can be steep in places and is not suitable for those who need help walking. The views are tremendous and well worth the effort. In the bar and entertainment areas there's a buzz of excitement and a really happy atmosphere prevails, even on wet days.
