2009 House Prices

I wonder what 2010 will bring. There seem to be signs of recovery. Things are predicted to pick up in the Spring, then slow down again. I'm looking for detached houses in the area for my parents, who are considering a move down here, and I've seen a lot of properties that have been on the market for over a year, stlll not offering a lower asking price. I wonder if it'll take a shift in people's mindsets to get the market moving. It's no use hanging on to your home, thinking that because it was worth x amount in 2007, you still deserve to get that now. Sellers have got to move with the times in order to get the market moving and to be realistic. I still can't believe how much apartments in the marina go for - it's smart but hey, it's still Exmouth marina! It's not as exclusive as the prices suggest, in my opinion!!!
