Daisy Pulls it Off-Absolutely scrummy play at the Blackmore this week!

If you've ever wanted to take part in midnight dormy feasts, hot water bottle fights and discover just why the Angela Brazil books about boarding schools were so incredibly popular, then come and see Daisy Pulls it Off.
On at the Blackmore from Monday 19th through to Saturday 24th, the play starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7 and available from the theatre itself on the evening or the Magnolia Centre kiosk (open 10am-2pm each day, I believe).
Based in the 1920's, the pupils and staff at snooty Grangewood School are horrified when an elementary schoolgirl (Daisy) wins a scholarship. Sneaky Sybil and her crony, toady Monica, do their very best to get Daisy expelled but after some top-hole adventures, she eventually pulls through.
If it's a rippingly perfect evenings entertainment you are after (and what might possibly be the most exciting hockey match ever staged) then don't miss it this week!
