Going bananas: the Exmouth Fairtrade stall at the monthly Farmers' Market at the Imperial Road car park
The two-week celebration closes tomorrow - Saturday 6 March - with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party from 10am-midday at Exmouth's Magnolia Centre. Naturally all the tea served at the party will be Fairtrade products. Not sure about the hats, though...
You can also catch up with Fairtrade Exmouth at its stall at the monthly Exmouth Farmers' Market. Next market: Wednesday 10 March, 9am-1.30pm, Imperial Road car park.
The Fairtrade mark gives a guarantee to consumers that the farmers and workers have been paid a fair and stable price that covers the cost of sustainable production. For more details, see Exmouth Fairtrade.
