I read that TWinter!!!! I have to say I was really surprised to hear about the mess on th beach because I have never seen it and I work in politics and have often tried to do a beach clean for the community but there has never been the need. Every time I go to the beach to check, it is immaculate. There seems to be a bit of a victim and over reaction case here. Our beach is lovely - all towns have to put up with bored youths making a mess, it is part of life. Exmouth is lovely and we are very lucky to have one of the best beaches in Europe - let's not pull it to pieces and over react unnecessarily otherwise it make the town look bad when it isn't.
I thought the beach was clean - sorry to hear about the needles, that is awful - perhaps the community could organise a beach cleaning day and highlight the need to clean our beach. Let us know how the kids get on - I wouldn't worry about HIV as I know a lot about that and it would be highly unlikely to catch that from an old needle - usually has to be a fresh needle with blood in it but there are other diseases but I am sure they will be alright. That is so bad, I really feel for you. Please let us know how they get on.

Make your own mind up about their needle story.

ReportBoth of my children have had dirty needles in their feet while walking on the beach, I have to wait for tests now to learn their fate.
