Lovely Food and Lovely Friendly People

Tried out the Beacon Vaults over the Easter Weekend ( Sat Night ) and we both really enjoyed the excellent food and nice friendly atmosphere. My good lady had a home made Lasagne (which I also test drove) and this was excellent , and my starter and main were also of a very high standard , all served with a smile by very friendly staff ( Andy & Lynne ) We will certainly be going back especially as it's only a 10 minute walk from our front door!! See you again soon.

EXMOUTHS PREMIER Eating house and Pub.
Rain or Shine the Beacon Vaults is the only place to Dine!
Lynne and Andy ( that's me the slightly crazy chef) took on the Beacon Vaults on Valentines Day, which was appropriate as it was love at first sight!
We offer a menu to suit all, from Tuesday to Saturday with weekend specials, anything from our Signature Sirloin to Stinging Nettle and Blue Cheese Risotto.
And then on SUNDAY our world famous (at least in Andys world) carvery.
We have roast beef, turkey and pork, go on ask for a slice of each! We have braised red cabbage, pureed swede, carrots and parsnips, roasties, yorkies and loads of other stuff all served with lashings of real gravy !!! its making me hungry just writing it! And all this for only £7.95...

    me and the wife were looking for somewhere to eat...not the usual "GASTRO-PUBS" or cafe, we stumbled across "THE BEACON VAULTS" and called in. We arrived at 4.30, to be told they served from 6 onwards. NOT a problem, we waited the 1 1/2 hours, Lynn offered us the opportunity of a "TAB". We ate at 6 and it was absolutely EXCELLENT!!..My steak was cooked exactly as asked for, the wife had bangers and mash, she loved it, and our son had the pasta (which he fair wolfed down) Desert was also delicious.
    THANKS LYNN & ANDY FOR REAL PLEASANT COMPANY & BRILLIANT FOOD!
    I would RECOMMEND this place to ANYBODY 10out of 10

    let me introduce my self my name is Andy Wood and my partner is Lynne Tregenna.
    On the 14 Th of February we took over the Beacon Vaults.
    We have made some changes to the pub itself and have all so introduced a larger menu using fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce.
    All we ask is that you give us a try, thanks Andy and Lynne.

    Fine menu, excellent value for money !

       

    We dined at this restaurant on two consecutive evenings and were very happy with our service. The premises are clean, well presented and inviting and the service offered by the new owners Alan & Lynn was fantastic. The menu offers a fine variety of choices all at very competitive prices in comfortable surroundings. There were five of us and our meals were all served promptly and piping hot. To cap it all, they serve real ale ! We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment and will definitely be returning. John & Annie.

    Cracking food and lovely friendly service...

       

    Heard about Beacon Vaults from a friend and was told they had new owners so thought i would check it out and see what was available... Thoroughly enjoyed there food, the friendly service that they provided was brilliant and the homemade creme brulee was to die for! MASSIVELY RECOMMEND!
