OK, if a little bland
It may have changed hands a couple of years ago, but apart from that, not too much has changed at The Park. It's still very much a locals' pub, favoured by an older clientele. Reassuringly reliable, it's a conservative place, but rocks – as much it can – on a Friday night. That's because it's music night, where you can expect to see a range of covers' bands going through their paces. Sadly the bands are often rather bland, but that seems to suit everyone just fine.
