No reason to be bored this Easter

WELL it is that time of year again – Easter. It’s a time where you have two weeks off from school or college. If you are religious you can celebrate the resurrection of Jesus but for many it is a time when you don’t have to have an excuse to eat a lot of hot cross buns or chocolate.
But what is there to do when you have such a long time off school or college?
Do you often find yourself trying to think of ideas but you can’t come up with anything?
Well, here’s a few ideas on how to ease the boredom over the Easter holidays.
First of all, if you are a cinema fan, why not go with your friends or family and see a film? There are a lot of good films on at the cinema at the moment such as Rio, if you are an animation fan, or Red Riding Hood, if you are a Twilight fan.
I personally recommend Red Riding Hood, as it is a good film for teenagers to watch. Another good thing to do over the holidays in the warmer months is to go to the beach with your friends or family, only if it is a nice sunny day, of course.
There are a lot of nice beach places to visit in Devon, such as Exmouth or Dawlish Warren though I personally recommend going to Exmouth, as it is a really good area if you want to buy a good ice cream.
Another thing to ease the boredom is to go up town with your friends and do a bit of shopping. There are always likely to be sales in your favourite shops and it might be a chance to grab yourself a decent bargain.
Also, if you are an avid reader, you can start reading a new book.
Even though books are not that popular to young people these days as there are other forms of entertainment, reading a new book can sometimes help ease the boredom. The books I recommend to read are Beastly, if you are a teenager, or The Chronicles Of Narnia if you are a little younger, as they were my favourite books when I was a kid.
Finally, another good activity is to have a DVD day with your friends or family. This is a good activity to do if it happens to be a rainy day. It would be a good chance to watch your favourite DVDs and have a laugh with your family or friends.
