Quite an institution on Exmouth's Exeter Road, Sell 4 You does exactly what it says on the tin – it sells items for you, taking a 30% commission (dropping to 25% for items over £100). Consequently prices are often higher than you might imagine, but the plus side is that the stock is generally in good condition. What's particularly great here is that you've no idea what you might encounter – it's an Aladdin's cave from curtains to Airfix kits, practice guitar amps to fishing rods, small items of furniture to George Foreman grills, DVDs, jewellery, cameras and so on. We sold a large pair of quality curtains here. This was particularly useful after several failed attempts at car boot sales, shop window ads, etc, so it definitely worked for us. The owner is very nice and very helpful, too. All in all, a very useful little shop, for both buyers and sellers.
