I agree with CoastalMummy that we're lucky to have a decent-sized Boots in Exmouth, but personally I rarely use it. Why? a) It's so big that it takes ages to find what you want, b) The staff often don't know whether something's in stock or where to find it, c) The pharmacy sometimes isn't fully staffed and therefore closes for lunch, so waits for prescriptions can be ridiculous (plus they sometimes run out of the medication you need), d) It's expensive. So, overall, not a very positive experience - I'm sure Boots is a useful resource for Exmouth, but for myself, I prefer to use one of the small local pharmacies whenever possible.

ReportI know that my parents use Boots all the time now because with their Over-60s discount, they get 10% off all Boots own brand stuff. This is a surprisingly large store for Exmouth and has a good variety of stock - and a good baby-equipment section. It's a shame they don't have an opticians service, though, as I recently had to go in to Exeter for this reason alone. I wanted to compare Boots with Specsavers and so had to go in to Exeter.

I think this is one of the better sized stores in Exmouth. It covers the basics and more which is perfect for our town. It has a wide range of products which vary through out the year, which makes it especially handy at christmas when it has it's gift section. This store is the perfect size for everything it has in it and I always find there's plenty of room to move around and it's easy to find everything that you need. The staff are friendly and helpful when trying to find certain products.
We are lucky to actually have a fairly decent sized Boots in Exmouth, and I found at Christmas, I was able to get a lot of presents here. The staff are really helpful and the pharmacy is good. There's a wide range of electrical goods available, which you often don't find in the smaller Boots stores. I wish it had an opticians section though - that would be handy. The only thing is, there aren't that many tills - three I think - and the queue can build up quite quickly.
