Chocs away!

A veritable treasure trove, Card Bar is a refreshing addition to Exmouth's Magnolia Centre. Apart from a diverse range of birthday, occasion and greetings cards, there's an intriguing range of gifts to suit all pockets. And that's not all. Towards the rear of the shop, there's a glass counter with a wonderful selection of exquisite and tempting handmade chocolates. The rum and raisin ganache, coated in dark chocolate, is particularly good, but there are many other tasty treats to try. The friendly staff will even package the chocs up for you in an attractive gift box, complete with a little red ribbon bow. Terrific! The only slight downside to the Card Bar is the shop's bright strip lighting. Possibly a hangover from its previous incarnation (as an outdoor clothing shop), the dazzling illuminations seem a little at odds with the cards, gifts and chocs. Apart from that, a shop that's well worth checking out.
