Exmouth Indoor Market is the place you can find all those odd bits and pieces that prove so elusive elsewhere. Weigh and Save has a superb range of exotic cooking ingredients, the home brewing stall fits an amazing array of equipment into a tiny space, and the haberdashery stall is a treasure trove of buttons, ribbons, needles, thread and anything else you might need for your needlecrafts. So before you give up, give the indoor market a try!

ReportI like Exmouth Indoor market. Apart from Martian Records, where you can spot the odd CD and DVD to add to your collection, I find E+H Supplies, the market's electrical supplies stall, is very useful. I've had some excellent advice about European light-bulb fittings, and the items I've bought have done the job well, saving me money in the process. Not only that, but the stall also stocks home-brewing items. Again the advice I've received here has been top-notch, and we made some smashing cider using items that the stall recommended. Tremendous!

I really enjoy shopping at markets, and the indoor market in Exmouth is one of the best. There is a really good choice of stalls and you can usually rely on finding just what you are looking for. There is a really friendly atmosphere here and it is so well located and easy to just pop in when you are passing. It is interesting when new stalls arrive, but reassuring to find old friends still there.

I always find the indoor market a strange place because of the massive mix of the different products and stalls that are in there but I know that this is its appeal. It's slightly like a maze in there and also like a Mary Poppins bag as it's a lot bigger inside than it looks on the outside! It could do with some modernisation but besides the look of it, you can find everything you need at a reasonable price. It's the perfect place for finding the things that aren't sold anywhere else and I would recommend it for a wet afternoon.
This must be the most famous shopping area in Exmouth! Whenever I mention that I live in Exmouth, people from all over the country reply "Oh yes, I like the indoor market"! Some of the traders change very often, others have been there for years. Like the fabric stall and the clotted cream and pasty stall. It's a very pleasant place to browse and discover that book you could never find, the CD or DVD you always promised yourself, those sweets that take you back to your childhood, the knitting yarn you'd given up hope of ever finding, the local produce, the pet's favourites, the perfect handbag, etc etc! A gem of a shopping experience.
