Been going there for years for odd bits and pieces, and though I've never spent a forturne there, the service has always been exemplary, notwithstanding. Good advice given when needed, and ordering in parts if not stocked - even quite obscure things. Jerry, you are a hero!

Good range of items at competitive prices
This specialist shop offers a good range of items, aimed at dinghy sailors and the cruising community. They have a reasonable stock of major brand names at competitive prices, and, if they don't have something in stock, they can order it in for you. I have found the staff to be helpful and very courteous.

Peter Dixon is a great specialist shop, in a handy location, and the staff are so helpful. If you're new to sailing and boating, rest assured you'll get the advice and help you need here - whether it's which rope and anchor you need to what type of clothing is suitable in different conditions. A really unique shop with good, old-fashioned customer care.

When I bought my first rib last summer, I went in to Peter Dixon''s to get my chain and anchor, and found them really helpful. A well stocked shop, too. You''d be hard pushed not to find what you''re looking for in there. Great value as well.
