Went to Krispies a few weeks ago. The shop was very modern and looked really clean, I was quite at home! There was a very large selection of food, but I just went for Sausage and Chips. Couldn't wait to try based on the reviews, and their independent awards. Chips were the worst me and my parter have ever had. Dry, flavourless and hardly any of them! Staff were rude too, considering it wasn't even busy. It's all well and good having a pretty shop, but not if the service and food is bad.

Definitely the best chippy in Exmouth, I mean battered chips- how amazing are those!! I've never had a bad meal from here and highly recommend it to all. As others have said they have won awards and rightly so, I go back time and time again. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. Even when it's busy I find you never have to wait long, even writing about it is making me hungry. Go to Krispies you will not regret it I promise!

ReportWidely regarded as the best chippy in Exmouth, Krispies has won awards for its chips, including their trademark battered variety. The attractive premises are bright, clean and shiny, and the wide menu offers above average fish and chips, along with other chip shop favourites, including burgers and pies. It's very popular, so there are queues most nights, but an efficient ticketing system sees that everyone is served as quickly as possible. Worth the walk up the Exeter Road!

ReportFantastic fish and chips that even won the best fish and chips award and had Keith Chegwin to come and sing for them! They do their own special batter that just can't be beaten (no pun intended!). Worth a wait if you find there's a queue - definitely!
